Potential Responsibilities:
(These may change based on the organization’s needs and the applicant’s interests)
Candidate Recruitment: Contribute to outreach efforts for recruitment by researching potential applicants; assist applicants through the application process; attend events and info sessions on behalf of Emerge
Fundraising: Research potential donors and grant opportunities and prepare related materials; assist with event management and coordination of fundraising events; assist with budget planning for the 2019 fiscal program year; assist with call time
Communications: Help expand and maintain the online presence of Emerge Massachusetts (including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and the website); draft emails and create press releases, etc.; design graphics to communicate our message
Administration: Acquire and organize materials and files; data entry and database management
Alumnae Support: Update and maintain database with latest contact data, election results and alumnae updates; maintain contact with program alumnae
Training Implementation: Revise program curriculum materials as needed; scout potential event locations and anticipate logistical needs
Community Building: Attend events on behalf of Emerge; research Democratic and other like-minded organizations in order to further collaboration
