Dr. Carole Allen has practiced pediatrics for 37 years, then served six years on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Pediatrics and five years as Commissioner on the Massachusetts Health Policy Commission. As the immediate past President of the Massachusetts Medical Society, she has devoted her career to advocating for the health, protection, and well-being of children and securing good public policy – hence, her political activism!
