Puja Mehta Fellowship

Puja Mehta Fellowship

We would not be here today without the leadership of our Board Chair, Puja Mehta. 2020’s Women of the Year event marked her 10 year anniversary in leadership at the organization, and we honored her legacy by establishing a fellowship in her name so that we may carry on her mission of helping more women run — and win! Although 2020 was her last annual Women of the Year event as Board Chair, Puja’s leadership and impact will drive the work for the organization for years to come. In her honor, the 2020 Board of Directors officially launched the Puja Mehta Emerge Massachusetts Fellowship. Click here for more information.

This annual fellowship is awarded to a high school or college student who:

  • Demonstrates interest in local public office
  • Demonstrates interest in public service career
  • Demonstrates interest in increasing the number of women in leadership roles within government – both as elected officials and as staff
  • Self-identified women and women of color are strongly encouraged to apply

We can’t do this work alone. None of this would be possible without the continued support of our incredible sponsors. For your partnership, friendship, and support — we thank you.
